Media have an important job in democratic systems. They are the fourth estate and control politics, the economy and the judiciary. Of course, the media also like a crisis. Because bad news sells better than good news. And scandals can be weighed up in gold. But why is the media so focused on the food industry and why do they always look for reasons to cover scandals?
